My girl wrote this piece last night on The Webby's which is what is prompting me to write this little blurb... Ok, I have never gone to the Webby's, but I must admit, from what I have heard from years past, they were a sight to behold. But now they just plain suck - being remiscent of a cross between Linklater's Waking Life and Max Headroom, but far less interesting. I don't know - the technology was cool, but I just couldn't get past the mono-pose smiley faces the Flash animations snapped to whenever the person talking, stopped talking. Oh, and the fact that you couldn't recognize anyone! I spent way too much time wondering, should I know who this person is?
