Assuming of course you are not some close-minded religious zealot. How on earth does another person's marriage (gay or not) impact my life at all? What a collosal waste of time: worrying about someone else's marrital status.
I mean, if animals do it without their delicate animal-societies falling apart. Hell, even other human societies do it (like the Canadians for crying out loud). Why can't our more sofisticated, advanced, and "more evolved" society do the same? I mean really.

The question is not whether gays should get married. It is: On what basis do you oppose marriage between two people of the same sex who desire it? In this, we are no longer having an argument about gay marriage as such, but the right of gays to marry if they wish to do so. This turn makes a huge difference.
