It is ironic that in recent months I have found The Daily Show, a comedy news program, to be the best and most refreshing source of news on television. Scarier is the fact that that what they report on is actually true -- like the recent segment on the Bush administration's use of Video News Releases to promote their medicare agenda. These video news releases take the form of actual news segments but are reported on by fictitious news anchors. These spots were distributed to, and get this: actually played by "legitimate" news outlets (30 to date across the country). Read the transcripts, and please someone tell me if they find a video dump of these Infoganda spots.
