All I could think about was the fact that at one point I actually gave the Bush administration the benefit of the doubt. In fact, I even remember defending the Bush administration in some circumstances. And I consider myself a liberal. Honestly, I do.
Why did I, a relatively critical thinker, not seriously scrutinize something as important as going to war? Why did I let myself be lied to? What happened?
At this point, these questions are largely rhetorical for me. But most of America hasn't even gotten to the point where they can ask themselves these questions, much less get to a point where they even know the right questions to ask.
Don't be afraid of knowing more simply because you are afraid of what you might learn. Knowledge is power. See this movie, and vote.
