Last night I had the honor of presenting to a class of about 50 or so students at Berkeley's Haas School of Business on product development lifecycles. I presented with two other speakers, Kevin Shwatrz, a consultant with PRTM, and Sumit WhoselastnameIforget from Google.

It is amazing I was able to present all. When I got home I took my temperature and found that I had 101 degree fever. I was physically exhausted and completely depleted. Those who know me, know I love to talk, and when I get excited I tend to talk really fast. Last night I literally had to stop 5 or 6 times just to catch my breath from talking.

But I survived, and it was a great experience.

For those who are interested, feel free to download my presentation.

Class Abstract: Product development historically followed a “waterfall” approach where requirements were handed to Engineering and the final product was handed to Quality Assurance. Today, product development is a much collaborative process where teams work together on each step of the process to produce a better product more quickly. This session examines best practices in translating customer needs into a final product.
