<ul>
<li>Slim profile, something that can live alongside a desktop computer, or be tucked away easily on my desk</li>
<li>Always on and something Windows XP and Linux can connect to</li>
<li>Lots of storage for photos and MP3s</li>
<li>Something to stream music from to other parts of the house</li>
<li>Something my wife and I can connect our iPods to</li>
</ul>
