This past weekend, we packed up the car and headed to Yosemite for a long weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. The weather was less than ideal most of the time we were there: rain or frozen rain, and a blanket of fog that obscured most of Yosemite's iconic sites from view. But on the day we left, after roughly fourteen hours of snowfall, God smiled upon us, granting me a long held wish and giving Arin a truly unforgettable birthday present: the chance to see Yosemite in all of its winter glory.
I am exceedingly proud of the photos I took that day, but no photo, no matter how perfect or amazing, could possibly convey the majesty of Yosemite in the Winter.
Stunning.
Best birthday ever! That last morning was truly magical.
