Fantasy Books Project
A long time ago I hacked together one of my first PHP Projects called the Fantasy Book List. This project's aim was to make one of the best book lists I had stumbled upon at the time into a more browser friendly web site.
The book list however is no longer being maintained and I have discontinued this project. Happily though, others have stepped up to help maintain the project.
For those looking for an excellent Science Fiction or Fantasy Book to read, let me recommend one of the following:

Interesting post -- I've also been trying to implement a visually appealing and easy-to-update PHP book-list for quite some time, mostly to present a list of books that I found enjoyable.
After ages trying to code my own script, I recently happened across the 'goodreads' site, which is very user-friendly, and will export a set of code with book covers for placement on one's personal website. It also manages to do book-lists nicely (i.e:

PS: Byrne, I heartily concur with all the titles that you've listed in your "My Favorite Fantasy and Science Fiction Books" section :)
id really like to recommend 'the chronicles of obernewton' by Isabelle Carmody. its by an australian author and not well known over seas. however i feel it is by far one of the best fantasy series ever written. trust me. it'll be worth it.
You should read the new fantasy novel called FAWCETTA....
it's a good book I read it...cool site..just came across it just surfing the web...I love fantasy...so when I come up on new fantasy sites I always like to join...
Keep up the good work...
