MTAmazon32 1.3.1
I figured I would release the quick fixes (zip and tar) that I have made in the first 24 hours. Sorry I didn't catch these the first time around - a little spit and polish never hurt anyone I suppose.
- Added $VERSION to plugin registry.
- Updated all template tag documentation.
- Modified MTAmazonRating to return a number and added MTAmazonRatingImage to return an HTML img tag.

Hi, just installed the plugin and everything's pretty slick and easy to use. However one thing that I've noticed - subscription ID and associate ID that are keyed in at the "system overview plugin settings" are not carried over to the individual blog plugin setting if the option to permit blog owners to set their own ID is not checked.

oh yeah...can include more countries under "Locale"? :)

argh. sorry for the quick posts.
amendments to my earlier post about the settings. the IDs are "locked" only after I click save within the individual blog setting.
would it be possible that once the option not to let blog owners set their ID is set under "system overview", the boxes to fill in the IDs are not shown the first time the settings under individual blog are displayed?

I wish I could include more countries, but unforetunately I can only include what Amazon supports. :-(

I thought about that, but I am concerned that first time users will be unable to use the plugin because they don't have system admin rights or permissions. I default to "Allow" because it allows first time users to configure the plugin until an admin overrides it.

yeah i just realised how dumb my comment on locale was. :P thanks for the work.

I'm stumped. I can't get this plugin to work at all. I pasted your David Bowie example right into an entry, and it's like it doesn't recognize the tags. All the tags show up in the published post.
I figured maybe another plugin was interferring, so I loaded up a test installation of MT just for this. It still didn't work.
My post is here. Any ideas? I'm not getting any errors from MT when rebuilding, and nothing in my logs.
My one question was where is the cache directory supposed to be? Is ./cache in my mt/plugins/MTAmazon32 directory, in my web log base directory, where?

I am having the same problems with Matt as well. I tried the David Bowie example and it doesn't work on my site as well.
Tried changing the cache directory to a top level one and even gave full permissions.

Obviously the next post addresses my issue. I was placing the MTAmazon tags in a post, where they weren't being processed.
Thanks!
