Once Feed Manager has been installed, you will need to install the necessary Feed Manager templates into Movable Type. This is done by:

1. Navigate to the "Settings" area within your Movable Type instance
2. Click the "Plugins" tab
3. Find "Atom" among the listed plugins, and click the "Show Settings" link
4. Select your Atom Feed template for your weblog from the pull down menu and click "Save Changes"
5. Then find "Feed Manager" among the listed plugins, and click the "Show Settings" link
6. Click the "Install/Update Plugin Templates" button. A window will appear and indicate when the installation process is complete

Once complete, you can modify the settings of your feeds using the Plugins tab for each weblog in your Movable Type instance.

Feed Manager Settings

Here you can configure which APIs are discoverable through your API discovery file, typically a file names "index.rdf" in your Movable Type installation and referred to by the "EditURI" link relation. When you click "Save Changes," Feed Manager will install a newer, "smarter" version of this index.rdf file.

Atom Feed Settings

From here you can enable and disable various features and Atom extensions within the designated Atom feed.
