Another semi-nightly build available for Beta 9
It is 2:00am. My wife is reading this right now and saying to herself, "you were up until 2 AM last night!?"
Yes. Yes I was.
But she will also be happy to know that in just a few short days I will have reached a major milestone with Media Manager, the release of Beta 9. Hopefully, one of the last few releases in a long string of betas. And as a result, I may actually get to bed at a decent hour.
Media Manager is getting more and more stable everyday. It is getting some great features, and may very well be one of the most complex plugins built for Movable Type to date. Tonight I added the cool new feature of importing items from your Amazon Wishlist, which creates a fast way to get started with Media Manager and populate your queue with tons of items.
Of course I also figured out (with some incredible tips from Brad Choate) how to completely "hijack" the "Edit Entry" screen to more gracefully insert the Media Manager toolbar for new and existing entries.
Anyway, here is the latest bleeding edge code. I hope you enjoy.
A word to the wise: this version of Media Manager will overwrite your edit_entry.tmpl and install edit_entry.tmpl.original. This will one day be replaced with an "Alt Template", but I haven't documented that. So be warned... you may at some point want to restore edit_entry.tmpl to its original state.
Oh and of course, don't forget to donate!

Will posting reviews work in this version? I have been holding off, because I do use it to post reviews.
