Beta X
There were a few more things I wanted to fix for Beta 10, but I think there were a few bugs that were a big enough of a hinderence that I thought I would just push what I have out, make it known what issues are still being worked on, and hopefully get more people up and running. So here it is: Media Manager 1.0 Beta 10 ready for download.
Ok, so what is not fixed in this release? Well, I could get to the following two issues:
- Publishing with Dynamic Pages - images may not be appearing
- Republishing from the command line - images may not be appearing
The above issues are at the top of my list. I plan to work on them next week and release the fixes in Beta 11.
Change Log
- Fixed bug where the following error occured during installation: "Can't call method "remove" without a package or object reference at lib/MediaManager/Install.pm line 111"
- Added warning to install screen that is displayed to users that have apparently already installed MM.
- Fixed bug where finished_on date was not getting saved properly in the BookQueue upgrade process.
- Fixed bug where the Display Options did not respect the compact or expanded view setting
- Fixed bug where if there was not rating given then a rating grahic is shown, however as a broken image.
- Fixed bug where this error shows potentially: "/home/stfamcom/public_html/cgi-bin/mt/plugins/MediaManager/lib/MediaManager/Plugin.pm line 282"
- Added blog-left-nav.tmpl to alt-tmpl
- Renamed alttmpl to alt-tmpl (which is the MT default and does not require config changes.

Comments
When in compact mode and clicking on edit the finish on date doesn't show eventhough it was there in the previous screen.

sort_order=''ascend|descend'' - Specifies the sort order for this particular tag. Valid values are ascend and descend. The default value is descend.
This doesn't seem to be the case. I noticed this with the last version as well. When I set the list in descend order it shows up as ascend and I know have to put a lastn="9999" in the statement or I will only get one back. Here is the page I'm talking about: http://www.stfam.com/books.php

If I try to write a review I get this error: "An error occurred:
Unknown action review"

Ditto on the "Unknown action review" error.

I can write reviews in the expanded version, but I get the unknown action review in the compressed view.
Question for you people out there. When you do post a review does the picture show up on the page after you post or do you have to rebuild your site to see it? Also do they stay after you make a regular post? I'm wondering if one of my plugins is causing my pictures to not show up till I rebuild the site.

I can write a review without errors and the toolbar is there, but when I publish it there's no thumbnail/info.
I've also found a couple CSS bugs, but I'll e-mail those.

Installed Beta X and clicked on Utilities>Media manager. I got this:

Another thing, when I go to the Plugins overview, "Show Settings" doesn't display under MediaManager.

Err . . . never mind - it's actually MTAmazon32 that I was looking for.
