Help Wanted - Truly Random Media Manager Item
A devoted user and beta tester of Media Manager is in need of a script that will display a random Media Manager item for each and every page load. Of course this is a bit of a challenge since most MT blogs are static. Hmmm. So even on a static weblog, surely one could include a PHP or Perl widget that could parse the file cached by MTAmazon32 and display the details of the item on the weblog. Right? Any volunteer hackers out there want to take a crack at this one?

So, I'm the guy mentioned above. I currently use the PHP script described on Elise Bauer's website for truly random entries (http://www.elise.com/mt/archives/001043randomentriesusing_php.php). Thus, it should be feasible to alter this script to met MM's needs for random entries (reasonable guess for a mech engr). HA HA HA, who let a mech engr into the software world. Well, I will venture off into the world of coding (ok, code altering). If any of you software gurus should bet me to it, cool. But, if I find something that works, I will post it here. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Well, no luck. It's beyond my "code altering" skills. I'll just go back to widgets. They make sense. Thus, my destiny is in the hands of faith and a software guru who knows what he/she is doing.
