Installing Plugin Manager Manually

Realizing that not all users will be able to use the Plugin Manager’s install script, there is a manual installation method for Plugin Manager as well. To install Plugin Manager manually, download the Plugin Manager archive, and unzip it into Movable Type’s home directory (the directory in which you find mt.cgi). Once complete, you should find the following files in your MT installation.

MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/mtplugin.pkg
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/PluginManager.pl
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/plugins.cgi
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/lib/PluginManager/CMS.pm
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/lib/PluginManager/Util.pm
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/lib/PluginManager/Plugin.pm
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/tmpl/check_ajax.tmpl
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/tmpl/header.tmpl
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/tmpl/list.tmpl
MTHOME/plugins/PluginManager/tmpl/preview.tmpl

Static files may need to be placed elsewhere within your Movable Type install, depending upon your configuration. He is a listing of Plugin Manager’s static files and their default installation location.
