Beta 3 Released

A big thanks to Maarten Schenk who is the author this release of Sidebar Manager. Maareten added all the hooks into the code for proper internationalization. He also set it up so that all new weblogs get a default sidebar. And I believe that the bug that several users reported, where Sidebar Manager would report, “Unknown mode ‘manage’” has been fixed.

Enjoy.

Sounds like a great plugin, but I get the following error:

Got an error: Can't locate SidebarManager/App.pm in @INC

Update: On Windows 2003 - there seems to be a problem with the paths. I was also experiencing the same problem with MTNotifier. I found the following link that fixes Sidebar Manager without any modifications to the plugin.

I thought the Windows 2003 admins out there might be interested in that gem.

Nice project, but please work on some documentation for it. I have no idea on how this interfaces with my current toolbar, or how to add a toolbar to my individual pages using this.

Hi there, This is a great tool. I couldn't get it to work with the 3-column format generated by the Style Generator at Movable Type though.

Perhaps there will be support for 2 side-bars.

Is this the same thing as widgetmanager? if so will your widgets work?
